7-Day Sexual Somatic Facilitation Training
Working with sexual trauma, complex sexual dynamics, the subtle sexual body and the nervous system.
With Karin Ritchie, Rhianne van der Linde & Tiffany Stone
6 – 13 July 2018
In this Facilitation Training, we invite you into a gentle exploration and safe ways of releasing the memory of sexual trauma in our bodies, moving towards becoming fully embodied in our sexuality and in our intimate lives.
It is remarkable how many people have had some trauma around their sexuality. Experiences ranging from direct sexual invasion to emotional incest or sexual innuendo can be too much for us to process at the time they occur, and so our emotions and sensations go into freeze and are parked for later. The time for later is NOW. While sexual trauma often occurs earlier on in our lives, we can find ourselves unable to fully open to physical and emotional intimacy with another and with ourselves – even many years later.
This workshop will be valuable for practitioners who are interested in deepening their skills and understanding of sexual trauma and also for those individuals who wish to enter more deeply into their own healing process.
In this Facilitation Training, you will get a basic understanding of how the nervous system processes trauma, be guided through some powerful practices for releasing sexual trauma and experience subtle body practices using breath, sound and movement. You will also receive coaching support in unwinding the trauma in your own body, enabling you to relate more intimately with your sexual body. Opening to a deeper level of energetic experience there will be a natural expansion of consciousness.

Rhianne van der Linde
Rhianne is an avid alchemist and a dedicated dreamer with a depth of knowledge and experience of transforming the mundane into the magical. Her personal explorations have led her into working with dreams, as a companion to those busy with their journey of dying, exploring the breath as a thread connecting us directly to source & processing and ritual with groups in wild nature. Truth as emptiness and Truth as embodiment – as consciousness expressing in form, in beautiful bodies of love…it is this language of the heart, this feminine language of embodiment & feeling that Rhianne is most interested in learning and sharing.
Tiffany has an intense fascination of how we as humans, function as a manifestation of our inner landscape, and especially in relation to how we interact with one another and our environments. Traditionally trained in the modalities of Depth Facilitation from the work of Arnold Mindell and the Process Work Institute, Family Systems Constellations & Psychology as well as being a certified coach accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), her approach is often quirky and radical as she weaves together a multitude of frameworks and applications in her search for truth and the underlying beliefs and motivations.
Ecotara is located in a stunning location in the southern part of the island of Gran Canaria. We are just twenty minutes from the nearest beaches, but a million miles away from tourism and stress. Ecotara is the perfect place to get away from the noise and busy touristic life on the island. It a place to understand and appreciate the true essence of the Canary Islands.
The nearest village from the centre is Fataga, which nestles in the so-called ‘Valley of the Thousand Palms’ – a picturesque setting of tall cliffs, palms and fruit trees.
