Klein Cederberg’s inspiration is art, wilderness, and ecological conservation.

We invite you to: gather, unplug, and unwind. Observe contemporary sculptures by leading South African artists set against the backdrop of pristine nature. Stargaze under the clearest of skies. Enjoy fire cooked meals and reconnect with the essential in life: family, friends, and uninterrupted time in nature.

Experience the spirit of the Cederberg through a breathtaking landscape with significant history, once home to South Africa’s first inhabitants, the San people, whose culture dates back some 20,000 years ago. San Rock Art remains on some of our property’s sculptural sandstone rock formations, shaped hundreds of millions of years ago by glaciers.

At night, the fires & lanterns will be lit adjacent to the original 1700’s Settler’s Dwelling and Stable. Sunsets give way to starry skies. This former farmstead served as a grazing migration stopover point for sheep and goat trekkers traveling to Ceres Karoo via Katbakkies Pass.

The peaceful, private, and rustic back-to-nature atmosphere of Klein Cederberg is the perfect family, friends, or work retreat, ideal for guests of any age.

SENIOR FACULTY

Rhianne walked alongside Shakti managing all of her in-person workshops and retreats from 2010 until her death in 2017. Being in Shakti’s flight path has been one of the greatest gifts in my life and as principal and senior faculty at the Shakti Shiva Academy, I remain totally in-service to the co-creation of intimate online and retreat spaces for vulnerable & embodied sharing.

An avid alchemist and a dedicated dreamer with a depth of knowledge and experience of transforming the mundane into the magical, my personal explorations have led me into working with dreams, as a companion to those busy with their journey of dying, exploring the breath as a thread connecting us directly to source & processing and ritual with groups in wild nature.

Truth as emptiness and Truth as embodiment – as consciousness expressing in form, in beautiful breathing bodies of love…it is this language of the heart, this feminine language of embodiment & feeling that I am most interested in learning and sharing.

Based in Cape Town, Valentina Leo (a.k.a. Mrslove) is an Artist, a Lover, a Mother and a Fool. A Tantric Practitioner, teacher of Enlightened Sexuality and an Explorer of the Tantric Realms for over 15 years. Initiated into the embodied wisdom of Human Sexuality by Shakti Malan, Valentina is a Dakini and devoted student of the Traditional Kaula-Tanra lineage of Kashmir Shivaism that recognises the body as Vibration, Space and a Celebration of Cosmic Divinity

Valentina is known for her unique talent in creating safe and sacred spaces where seekers of all ages can claim their own Spiritual Eroticism. With grace, charm and humour, she has guided and supported many men and women on their sacred journey towards themselves. From this place, ultimate Freedom can be experienced as the True Essence of Love – which is the heart of all Tantric teachings.

Her deepest desire is to birth a generation of TRUE LOVERS to populate our Beautiful Planet. Italian by birth she has been living in Cape Town for over two decades, offering classes, retreats and private sessions.

Who is this retreat for?

The BlissDance Retreat is designed for open-hearted-and-minded, curious lovers of truth, and lovers of love, for whom music and movement is medicine.  It provides an opportunity to deep dive into what it is to be a fully-realised, multi-dimensional, consciously embodied human being, in intimate, authentic relationship with Self, others and the planet.

We explore our true essence, devoid of trauma, social conditioning and unconscious habits of focus, and we become the compassionate space within which every aspect of self is welcomed back home.   We learn to work with the nervous system and egoic mind, and we gently de-armour our physical, emotional and spiritual barriers to following our true desire and purpose.

This retreat is particularly valuable to practitioners of somatic modalities such as conscious dance, yoga, body work, family constellations, sexual awakening for men and women, midwifery, breath work, and so on.  It provides a rich array of embodied practices, tools and exercises to support clients to harness their erotic consciousness to heal, grow, transform and expand.

Regardless of gender identification, sexual orientation or relationship status, you are welcome.  All of you is welcome. 

Yes, you’re welcome to participate on your own.  Whether you’re single or in partnership / relationship, this retreat is designed as a solo experience alongside and together with others.  You will have the opportunity to deepen in intimacy with yourself and with others.

  • The closest airport to fly into is Cape Town International.  
  • We advise arriving a minimum of 1 day early and overnighting in Cape Town, fresh and ready for transfer to Bodhi Khaya on Wednesday 3 December 2025.
  • Cape Town is a modern, cosmopolitan city surrounded by nature. Lying between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, it is one of the most sought-after holiday destinations around the globe. 
  • Cape Town is a wonderful city to spend at the very least a few days in as a tourist. Please connect with Rhianne should you require any assistance with planning your itinerary. 
  • Bodhi Khaya is approximately 150 mins by car from Cape Town. We will connect participants together for lift sharing purposes. We encourage our locally based participants to offer a ride to our international participants & travelers.
  • Shakti Shiva Academy can arrange transport (if required) with a shuttle bus from Cape Town to Bodhi Khaya (3 December) as well as from Bodhi Khaya back to Cape Town (10 December). Please note this cost will be additional to the retreat cost and is entirely dependent on how many participants require this service.
  • * Cancellation up to and inc. 30 September 2025: All payments (less an admin fee of R500) will be refunded to you
    * Cancellation up to and inc. 31 October 2025: 75% of your payments will be refunded to you
    * Cancellation up to and inc. 15 November 2025: 50% of your payments will be refunded to you
    * Should you cancel after 15 November 2025: no refund will be due to you and you will forfeit any and all payments made.
