What is Liquid Body Aliveness?

Most of us treat our bodies as functional objects moving around in space, and we only pay attention to them when they don’t do what we want them to do. What would it be like to live from inside the sensual aliveness of a body that is pulsing with the rhythm of the cosmos and moving in seamless oneness with life, like a river merging with the ocean? Rather than being the object of your life’s story – or the main character -. what would it be like to be the subject of your experience – the one who is moment to moment at play, from the inside of life, within this sensing-feeling-tasting-touching body of yours?  

 

To begin to make this shift in perspective, ask yourself the following:

• In what areas of my life have I become rigid and defined? What does this rigidity give me – and what is the cost?
• What do I love about being alive in my senses – and what scares me about this possibility?
• Am I relating to myself from the outside (evaluating, judging, comparing, defining) or from the inside, where every moment is just now, and every experience is pure delight – because it testifies to my aliveness?

 

Right, so we have habits that keep us stuck. Which is where we can do with a little help from our friends the Dolphins, who live in a state of continuous openness and flow. In my experience, even a brief encounter with these remarkable beings can change the course of a person’s life and catalyze them into liquid body aliveness.
